Abbreviated Statement of Faith & Conduct

The Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God, His full written revelation, and our only rule of faith and practice.

There is one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

God created the heavens and the earth and all life in six literal days.

God is sovereign in all things, accomplishing His purpose according to His perfect wisdom and will.

Jesus Christ is God’s only Son and the second Person of the Trinity. We teach His pre-existence, incarnation, virgin birth, sinless life, atonement, bodily resurrection, and personal, visible return.

The Holy Spirit is a divine Person active in regeneration, sanctification, preservation, and the equipping of the church.

Man was created in the image of God. Because of Adam’s sin, every person is born with a sinful nature and sins by nature.

Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ apart from human merit, works, or ceremonies. All who are in Christ are eternally secure in Him.

The church is the spiritual Body of which Christ is the Head, expressed universally and locally. Its ordinances are believer’s baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper.

Every person will be raised bodily and will exist forever either in heaven or hell, under God’s righteous judgment, reward, or punishment.

Miraculous gifts have ceased with the completion of the New Testament. Non-revelatory equipping gifts continue for the edification of the church.

Jesus Christ will return personally, bodily, and imminently before the seven-year tribulation to rapture His church from the earth.
